The CaroMont Diabetes Center is an outpatient program committed to providing state-of-the-art training and self management education to all people with diabetes and their families.

Our diabetes education team uses an interdisciplinary approach to assist each person in achieving optimum diabetes control.

We offer group classes and individual training that includes:

  • How to monitor blood glucose
  • Nutrition education and wieght management
  • Meal planning
  • Guidelines for eating on the go
  • Role of exercise in diabetes control

  • Prevention, recognition and treatment of diabetes emergencies
  • Prevention, recognition and treatment of diabetes complications
