Job Summary:  The Nursing Shift Manager serves as an administrative resource for nursing and other departments as required for coordination of patient care and services on assigned shifts. 

Qualifications:  Associates Degree in Nursing from a recognized college or university, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.  Current Rn license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license). At least three years of nursing supervisory experience in acute care with outstanding leadership skills documented.  Able to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians and ancillary personnel.  Ability to manage, coach and provide motivated environment.
