Professional Consultation
Each clinical laboratory section and pathology department is headed by a board certified pathologist.  The pathology staff is involved in the day to day review of analytical information in addition to administration of the laboratory.   Pathologists provide professional and clinical consultations or assistance with questions regarding appropriate testing or test utilization.   A pathologist is available on-site Monday - Friday during office hours, or on call weekends, holidays and after hours.  

Technical Consultation
Department supervisors and technical specialists are available to answer questions concerning methodologies and procedures.  Supervisors are available from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.  For questions or assistance after 5:00 pm, the shift supervisor is available.  A supervisor is also available on call on weekends, holidays, and after hours.

Technical Support
Members of the laboratory staff are available to discuss various healthcare topics and provide technical support.  Medical Technologists are on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Educational Services
The Education Coordinator is available to assist in coordination of laboratory related training requests and scheduling laboratory in-services.
