Why Pre-Register?

We care about making your admission as easy as possible.  Pre-registration provides the following benefits:

§         It allows us to make better use of a patient's time when they arrive for a scheduled service.

§         It provides GMH the opportunity to contact a patient's insurance plan in advance of their appointments/admissions to ensure that appropriate pre-authorizations are obtained from the insurance company. This enables patients to receive the maximum benefit offered by their insurance company. 

§         It allows GMH to provide an estimated amount due from the patient.  We can then offer payment options and/or alternative options prior to service so that the patient will not have to worry about this upon arrival or after service. 

How to Pre-Register?

On the day you are given your surgery date, please call 704-834-2914.  It is necessary for you to complete this step prior to your pre-surgical appointment.

§         You will speak to an Access Management Representative.

§         The purpose of this call is to obtain necessary personal information such as your correct name, address, contact phone numbers, employment and insurance information. 

§         You will need to have your insurance cards readily available.
